Women’s Re-Entry Scholarship Qualification Requirements

Applicant must be a member of an American GI Forum Women's Chapter for at least two years prior to submitting application.

Must be a current AGIF member in good standing - a copy of membership card or transmittal form must be attached.

Must be enrolled or in the process of enrolling as a full or a part-time student.

Must be at least twenty-five years of age.

Must submit a copy of most recent transcript of post-secondary courses completed or high school diploma/equivalency
and college acceptance letter.

Must submit three letters of character reference, one from an American GI Forum member.

Must submit a biographical statement including all information listed in No. 8 of the application form.

Must use scholarship within school year awarded.

Must maintain a 2.5 grade point average, after being accepted to post secondary educational program.
Attach proof on income (copy of income tax papers, W-2, etc).

Must submit follow-up receipts and semester/quarter grades.
